Scope

These terms apply to the public website, the member app and lounge access operated by MeetUp Business Club. By using the website or applying for membership you accept them.

Membership by invitation

Every membership rests on an invitation. There are three ways in: an invitation link from a member, upgrading an account created by attending an event, and — for the levels with lounge access — management approval. Applying does not guarantee membership: the team reviews every application and may decline it. What each level includes is on the membership page; any fee is agreed with you before it applies.

Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Your account and your QR code are personal. Do not share them; a QR code is valid for about 90 seconds and one entry.
• When you invite someone, you confirm that you know them. This confirmation is recorded with your name.

Respect for other members

• Contact details are shared only after both sides accept an introduction. Do not try to obtain another member's contact details any other way.
• Do not copy, scrape or export member information, and do not use the platform for unsolicited marketing.
• Treat what you learn in closed sessions, tables and introductions as confidential.
• Use the platform lawfully: no fraud, harassment or impersonation.

What we provide

MeetUp Business Club provides access to a curated community, sessions, the lounge and specialist advisors. We do not sell relationships and we do not promise any business result or deal.

Advisors and service partners are independent and are responsible for their own advice.

AI-assisted features

Some suggestions, summaries and translations are produced with AI. They are labelled, they may be wrong, and staff review them before they affect introductions or invitations. Check important information before relying on it.

Lounge and events

Entry is by QR code only, and no biometric data is taken. The lounge is monitored by CCTV for the security of the premises, and the privacy notice explains that. Follow the lounge rules and the rules announced for each event. Access may be refused or ended for behaviour that puts others at risk or breaches these terms.

Content

The design, text and software of the platform belong to MeetUp Business Club or its licensors. Content you add, such as your profile, needs and messages, remains yours; you allow us to use it only to run the service.

Suspension and ending membership

You can ask to end your membership at any time by writing to ⁨privacy@meetupbusinessclub.com⁩. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, especially of the mutual-consent rule. Your data is then handled as described in the privacy notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss or for arrangements that members make with each other. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.

Governing law

Governing law and competent courts: Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul.

And this clause does not narrow your rights: if you are a consumer you may still go to the consumer arbitration committee where you live — Law 6502 does not let us limit that with a jurisdiction clause. The full route is described on the payment terms page.

Changes

Important changes are announced in the app before they apply, and every version stays in the version history with its effective date, so you know which text you accepted. Effective date of this version: 2026-10-18.
