Lounge · Istanbul
The lounge, where you meet in person
The lounge is the physical side of membership: a place in Istanbul where you reserve your spot before you come. This page says what it is like and how a day there goes; the way in and the amounts live on their own pages.
Where, when, and the unit of presence
Presence is counted in credits: one credit is one hour, reserved before you arrive. Every number here is read from the same place the reception desk reads.
- City
- Istanbul
- Opening hours
- 09:00 to 21:00
- Address
- We send the address and directions once your request is approved, so nobody arrives unannounced and waits at the door.
- Unit of presence
- 1 credit for each hour of your own; booking is by the hour
- Reservation
- People per hour: each hour has a set limit on how many people are in, members and guests together. A booking holds your place and your guests' places for those hours, and entry is by booking only.
- Grace after your hour
- 10 minutes, free of charge.
- Staying longer
- Extend by one more hour at the same rate, if that hour still has room.
- Cancellation
- Up to 24 hours before your booking; the credits come back.
- Guests in the open area
- Up to 4 people with you, each using 1 credit an hour; they sit with you and count toward that hour's capacity.
- VIP room
- 2 rooms, booked by the hour for at least 2 hours, up to 10 people.
- VIP room 1
- 5 credits an hour, host included; each guest 1 more
- VIP room 2
- 4 credits an hour, host included; each guest 1 more

Guests are not free: each guest uses credits for every hour and is registered by name, because their entry pass carries its own code. VIP catering is paid separately.
The spaces
Three kinds of space, each built for different work.
The shared lounge
The tables and sofas of the shared lounge. You book a place for people, not a table: your place and your guests' places are held for those hours, and your guests sit with you.
VIP room
A closed room for a meeting nobody overhears: booked by the hour for at least 2 hours, up to 10 people. An interpreter can join if arranged in advance; catering is paid separately.
Café and stage
An informal place for coffee between two meetings, and a small stage for talks and member evenings.
A day at the lounge
From the reservation to leaving, six steps — and none of them surprises you at the reception desk.
- Before you come you reserve places for yourself and your guests for specific hours — in the shared lounge or a VIP room — and you see right there how many credits it takes.
- An entry pass is issued and sent for every guest, and each person has their own code.
- Entry is by QR code and nothing else; no biometric data is collected.
- Entry is by booking only, and reception checks each person in with their own code — the member card or the guest card.
- Before your hour ends we remind you that you can extend, and nothing more is taken from your balance until the grace period is over.
- If the next hour still has room for you and your guests you stay for one more hour at the same rate; if it is full, we suggest the nearest hour that has room.
How much presence each level buys
Two membership levels, and one difference between them: how many credits you buy ahead for the year. The digital access is the same in both.
Silver
- Credits per year
- 150 credits
- Hours of presence per year
- up to 150 hours
Gold
- Credits per year
- 900 credits
- Hours of presence per year
- up to 900 hours
The membership amount and the price of a credit or a guest-hour are not written here, so that we never state two figures: they are all on the features and prices page and stay up to date there.
Two ways in, one membership
Circle and lounge are not two products; they are two ways of being present in one membership. A member has access to both and never has to choose.
Circle
The digital layer: the network, introductions with consent from both sides, needs and events — from whichever country you are in.
Lounge
The physical layer in Istanbul: hourly bookings, the VIP room and in-person events, for when a conversation has to happen face to face.
How admission works
Membership opens by invitation and admission, not by signing up
A network is worth exactly what the people inside it are worth — which is why there is no self-serve signup on this site, and nobody joins Circle on their own. Three doors lead in, and each one starts with a real introduction; below is which of them sits closest to you.
An invitation from a member
Every Circle and Club member holds an invite quota and can send you a link. Accept it and your account opens, so you already know someone here on day one.
Through our events
Registration for open events is free to everyone. If we get to know each other there, reception and management can upgrade your event account to a Club account.
A board vote for the Club
Istanbul Club membership opens on a board decision with at least two voters. Their names stay out of it and you see the outcome — short and clear.
What you can do right now
A request goes into a review queue rather than straight into membership, and sending one commits you to nothing. Contact details are shared only once both sides agree.
